nutrientsdi LMG0301 06 Jan 2003 through 01 Feb 2003 Samples taken from Go-Flo bottles and analyzed within 4 hours on board the LM Gould during the January LTER Cruise. Samples not run within 4 hours were frozen at -70 Celsius and run at a later date during the cruise. All samples run on an ALPKEM Flow Solutions IV segmented flow nutrient analyzer. "year, day, date, grid line, grid station, GMT (hour), GMT (min), latitude (degrees), latitude (minutes), longitude (deg.), longitude (min.), event #, irradiance (%), depth (m), phosphate (uM), silicate (uM), nitrite (uM), nitrate (uM), ammonium (uM), nitrate+nitrite (uM)" nitrate (uM) from difference of measured variables nitrite + nitrate (uM) and nitrite (uM). Water was sampled from all depths at all cruise stations. "Water from Go-Flo bottles was sub-sampled directly into acid washed 30ml polyethylene vials and stored, up to 4 hours, at 4 degrees Celsius until analysis on an ALPKEM Flow Solutions IV nutrient analyzer. Samples not run within 4 hours were frozen at -70 degrees Celsius until anlysis. Frozen samples were stored in new 20ml polyethylene scintillation vials with teflon lined lids. Frozen samples collected within the euphotic zone of the CTD cast were filtered through 1um GF/F syringe-tip filters before freezing, all others were collected directly into the 20ml scintillation vials." Water was sampled from Go-Flo bottles off a side-deployed rosette at all depths sampled (usually eleven discreet depths).
